This report documents repeated aerial and ground-based surveys in intertidal habitats of Izembek NWR that were done in order to assess the refuge’s importance as a shorebird staging area. This data qualified Izembek NWR for inclusion in the Western Hemisphere and Shorebird Reserve Network.
